"You Can't Handle the Truth"

Ever watch a film from your childhood that you've seen many times and someone tells you something you never noticed that forever alters your view of this film...

In 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory' Grandpa Joe sacrifices tobacco money to buy a Wonka bar for Charlie and then is his loveable sidekick on the factory tour. Didn't you always like "good old" Grandpa Joe? ...Well did you ever notice that in the beginning of the film the grandparents, including Joe, are all bedridden while the poor old mother works and handles all the chores. Then Charlie wins the golden ticket and all of the sudden Grandpa Joe goes from being an invalid to dancing around the room. Shouldn't he pick up a mop and give the poor mom a holiday at the Chocolate factory? ...btw, "good old" Grandpa Joe is not a bad as "good old Barney."

Please let us know if you have similar issues. After all, "If you ordered that Santiago wasn't to be touched, - and your orders are always followed, - then why was Santiago in danger?"
